This professionally staged exhibition and sale, sponsored by BOCM Pauls; Clarke’s of Walsham Ltd; Dalehead Foods Ltd; Lacy, Scott & Knight; Thomas Ridley & Sons Ltd; and the Bury St Edmunds Flyer was organised by Church Walks Charities, with Carol Marsh with Eve and Colin Burrows, and supported by the School of Art, West Suffolk College.
Sixty highly regarded professional artists as well as local artists and students generously donated their work. In addition we also received donations from many other local businesses so that all proceeds could go to St Nicholas Hospice Care.
St Nicholas Hospice Care provides valuable support to patients and their families in west Suffolk and Thetford. The Hospice’s work touches the lives of all of us, either personally, through someone we know, or someone we work with. Fundraising events such as this are vital for this support to continue.
The Unitarian Meeting House, built in 1711 and restored in 1991 by Unitarian Trustees is considered one of the finest buildings in Bury St Edmunds and was a beautiful and unique venue for this event.
If you wish to make a donation (in cash or kind) or need any further information, please do contact us via this website or telephone 01284 750100.
The top selling Ned Pamphilon picture created for us and entitled “Church Walks in June” was bought by a Bury St Edmunds company for their new offices - see photo below.

The Organisers of the Exhibition thank everyone who donated their work and their time to make the exhibition a success
